This last week saw an intense heat wave hit, so we spent much of our free time gazing at, walking beside, and swimming in the ocean. And let’s not mention all the milkshakes I glugged down…

A colleague and I went for an after-work chat with milkshakes at the Fat Cactus across the road from work. How cute are the cactus-shaped milkshake glasses? That’s my espresso shake. Yum!We started our weekend early, with Friday evening dinner at Earth Cafe. I chose the crispy honey chicken, while Husband had two salmon hand rolls and the black bean curry.
